Eatsa SF

We designed the flagship and prototype location of this much heralded, nationally recognized, high tech, fully-automated food delivery concept, Eatsa.  Customers place their order on an Ipad and pick it up from personalized “cubbies” minutes later. The food is cooked fresh by humans in the adjacent kitchen, but all ordering and pickup is done through a complex system of automated technology and engaging computer graphics.

The innovative concept combines four forms of existing technologies in a new way to provide a futuristic food delivery system that is remarkably fast, cheap and good for the planet. Eatsa, a vegetarian concept, provides eight quinoa bowls in under two minutes, making it affordable, healthy and fast.

When the order is ready, the front of the cubby shows the customer’s name. With a tap on the cubby door food is retrieved. The process uses smart phone technology, tablet technology, a digital payment system, proprietary ordering software and four different types of monitors, the most sophisticated of which is the food delivery cubby.
