The program is organized around interrelated components, including a farm-to-table restaurant and bar, a farm store and café, an event barn, and space for a local farmers’ market. Together, these elements support local agricultural producers by providing year-round venues to sell products, host events, and engage directly with the public, reinforcing the economic and cultural vitality of small-scale farming and ranching.
Green Valley Farm Preserve
The design emphasizes the site’s climate and landscape through porches, overlooks, semi-covered dining areas, and a network of informal outdoor gathering spaces that blur the boundary between interior and exterior. These spaces encourage lingering and seasonal use while maintaining strong connections to the surrounding fields.
The buildings take cues from nearby agrarian structures in scale, materiality, and form, creating a familiar and welcoming character. This approach reinforces the project’s role as a family-oriented community destination that celebrates local food systems and fosters a deeper understanding of where food comes from through shared experiences of dining, leisure, and education.
